Gandrud Auto Group recognized that their locations in Green Bay may be overwhelming for their guests. The three dealerships (Gandrud Chevrolet, Gandrud Nissan, and Gandrud Dodge/Chrysler) along with Gandrud Collision Center are all located on Auto Plaza Dr. "We also looked at our customer base; we see more and more independent women buying and maintaining vehicles. It's up to them, and there is often a bit of fear when asking questions. Not knowing leaves them vulnerable. We want to take the fear away, and help women gain confidence when it comes to their vehicle." said Verchelle Dehn, Customer Relations Manager for Gandrud Auto Group.
A program was developed with women in mind. "Women on Wheels" is an event designed to provide a safe environment in which women can ask questions and gain information regarding their vehicle. The W.O.W. event is comprised of several seminars, each providing helpful information pertaining to a different aspect of the vehicle. Gandrud team members conduct the seminars, and are available for reference.

Seminars include:
- The importance of vehicle maintenance
- Questions to ask when presented with a vehicle repair estimate
- The opportunity to explore cutting edge vehicle technology
- Safely changing a flat tire
- Your life is riding on four pieces of rubber: why tires are so important
Gandrud has partnered with area businesses to include additional seminars pertinent to women. "We wanted to add some extra fun to the event, so we've selected area businesses to hold seminars at the event." says Dehn.
Gandrud Auto Group will be hosting its third Women On Wheels (W.O.W.) event on Saturday, April 28th, 2012. W.O.W. begins at 9am at Gandrud Chevrolet, and concludes with lunch at 1:30. Space is limited to the first 50 participants, so reservations are required. Business partners for this event will be Josephine's Attic and Tri Essence Salon.
Past participants have stated:
"I'm glad I took the time to come, it was well worth the time!"
"Good Job! Very well organized and the presenters knew what they were talking about."
"I liked the variety of different subjects, not just cars. They did an excellent job putting this together. I would recommend this to others and I will be back again."
"Everyone who presented things of interest did a great job. We learned lot and had a good girl's day out, with fun and humor. Thank you for everything."
Individuals interested in attending the November 5th Women On Wheels can register by email to vdehn@gandrud.com, or by calling Verchelle at 468-6800.
